Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect
Top Stylists may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, login/account information, professional contact information, salon or business information, public profile details, biography, services and prices, links, photographs, logos, testimonials, and support communications.
Top Stylists may also collect technical and security information needed to operate the Service, such as device/browser information, IP address, timestamps, authentication/session information, error logs, and security events. Payment-card details are handled by the payment processor; Top Stylists may receive payment status, customer identifiers, subscription identifiers, billing dates, and limited transaction information rather than full card details.
2. Public profile information
Information you intentionally publish on a stylist page is public and may be viewed, copied, indexed, or shared by visitors and third parties. Do not publish personal information you do not want publicly available.
3. How we use information
- create, display, save, and maintain stylist pages;
- authenticate users and secure accounts;
- administer trials, subscriptions, billing status, and cancellations;
- send transactional and service-related communications;
- provide customer support and troubleshoot problems;
- prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity;
- maintain records, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations; and
- improve Service reliability and usability using information reasonably necessary for those purposes.
4. Service providers and disclosures
Top Stylists may disclose information to vendors that perform services on its behalf, such as hosting, database/authentication, payment processing, email delivery, security, and domain/infrastructure services. Current production vendors may include Supabase, Netlify or another hosting provider, Stripe, Resend, Cloudflare, and related infrastructure providers, depending on the final production configuration.
Top Stylists may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets subject to appropriate protections.
Top Stylists does not intend to sell personal information for money. If business practices later involve activities treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable privacy law, the policy and required choices will be updated before those practices are implemented.
5. Cookies, sessions, and similar technology
Top Stylists may use cookies, local storage, session tokens, or similar technology for login sessions, security, preferences, and essential Service operations. Any non-essential analytics or advertising technology should be separately assessed and disclosed before deployment.
6. Retention
Top Stylists retains information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, maintain security and business records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may differ by data type. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion from active systems.
7. Your choices and requests
You may request correction or deletion of certain account information by contacting Top Stylists. Some information may need to be retained for billing, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or other legitimate purposes. Additional rights may apply depending on your jurisdiction and whether applicable legal thresholds are met.
8. Security
Top Stylists uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password and account access secure.
9. Children
Top Stylists’ professional account service is intended for adults. Top Stylists does not knowingly offer paid professional accounts to children under 18 or knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the account service.
10. Do Not Track and third-party collection
Browsers may offer “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is not a single universally adopted standard for all such signals, Top Stylists’ response depends on the technologies actually used in production. The final published policy will accurately describe whether third parties collect personally identifiable information about users’ online activities over time and across different websites or online services through Top Stylists.
11. Policy changes
Top Stylists may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated as required by law, and the effective date will be updated. We recommend reviewing the policy periodically.
